Domestic adoption occurs when an individual or couple becomes the legal and permanent parent(s) of a child that is a national of the same country. Domestic adoption may be of a non-related child or a relative child in Canada. In most domestic adoptions, the birth parents are known. Canadian adoption guidelines encourage open adoptions as this is in the best interest of the child. The age of children adopted domestically in Canada ranges from newborns and older.
World View Adoption is licensed for domestic adoption and can assist you. Contact Us for detailed information.
