Relative Adoption
World View has extensive experience with relative adoptions within Canada.
There are situations in which a relative wants to adopt a child from their extended family within Canada. In such cases, adoption is possible through a provincial court of jurisdiction. There are different applicable laws based on the relationship of the adoptive parents with the adoptive child.
In some cases, a homestudy and PRIDE training may be required (please see How to Adopt page.) In other cases, adoption can be facilitated directly through the courts.
